#1 Classic G&T
Ingredients
50ml gin , London dry (such as Beefeater, Tanqueray No.10, Dodd’s)
50ml soda water
50ml tonic water
A wedge of lime and plenty of ice
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add a wedge of lime
Pour over 50ml London dry gin
Top with 50ml soda water and 50ml tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#2 Cucumber & Coriander G&T
Ingredients
50ml of gin (use Hendrick's, it's infused with cucumber)
A few coriander sprigs
Spirals of cucumber (use a hand peeler)
Tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add coriander sprigs
Pour over 50ml of gin
Add a spiral of cucumber
Top with 50ml soda water and 50ml tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#3 Elderflower & Cucumber G&T
Ingredients
Spirals of cucumber
Grated cucumber juices
100ml elderflower cordial
100ml gin
1l bottle tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Grate cucumber to extract juices and add to glass
Pour over 50ml of gin
Pour over 100ml of elderflower cordial
Add a spiral of cucumber
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#4 Rhubarb G&T
Ingredients
50ml of your preferd Gin
25ml Rhubarb Syrup
25ml Mancino Vermouth Ambrato
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Pour over Gin
Pour over Rubarb Syrup
Add Mancino Vermouth Ambrat
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#5 Pineapple and Basil G&T
Ingredients
1/8 of a fresh pineapple, cubed (about a small handful)
4-6 basil leaves (plus more for garnishing)
juice of 1/4 of a lime (plus more for garnishing)
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Add the pineapple chunks, basil leaves, lime juice.
Crush the ingredents in the glass using a rolling pin
Pack the glass with lots of ice
Pour over the Gin
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#6 Spiced Orange & Cinnamon G&T
Ingredients
Fresh orange slices (plus peel, to garnish
Fresh ground nutmeg
Cinnamon stick
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add in a few orange slices
A little sprinkle of ground nutmeg
Pour over the Gin
Top up with tonic water
garnish with a cinnamon stick
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#7 Watermelon and Lime G&T
Ingredients
juice of 1/2 lime
4-6 mint leaves
100g of cubed watermelon
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Sugar rim
2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
zest of 1/2 lime
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add the Watermelon
Add the mint leaves
Pour over the Gin
Top up with tonic water
garnish with a rim lime juice dipped in the sugar mix
#8 Lavender G&T
Ingredients
2 tbsp Butterfly pea flower, dried
2 tbsp Lavender, dried food grade
200ml of fresh lime juice
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add the Butterfly pea flower
Add Lavender
Pour over the Gin
Add the lime juice
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#9 Red Chilli, Lime & Coriander G&T
Ingredients
1 red chilli
Juice of half a lime
Coriander leaves to garnish (optional)
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Slit the chilli lengthwise and scrape out and remove the seeds and pith
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add the lime juice
Pour over the Gin
Garnish with coriander
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
#10 Pink Rose G&T
Ingredients
30ml simple syrup infused with 1 tsp rosewater
Juice of half a lime
Rose petals, to garnish
50ml of Gin
Bottle of Tonic water
Method
Pack a large glass and add lots of ice
Add the lime juice
Pour over the Gin
Add the simple syrup
Top up with tonic water
Give everything a good mix and enjoy
Add Rose petals to garnish
#Bonus Gin & tonic ice lollies
Ingredients
6 slices of cucumber
6 mint leaves
75ml gin
250ml tonic
50g caster sugar
Method
Push a cucumber slice and a mint leaf into lolly moulds
Add to a jug Gin, tonic and sugar
sstir until sugar is dissolved and tonic stops fizzing
Pour in to the moulds
Freeze for 4 hours minimum preferably overnight.
Pop out the moulds and enjoy
